ResetBet (“the app”, “we”) helps people quit gambling. This policy explains what happens to your data. The short version: the app has no accounts and no server of ours, and everything you record stays on your phone.
All of it. Your recovery start date, logged urges and their triggers, journal entries, streak, milestones and progress charts are stored locally on your iPhone and never sent to us. We cannot see any of it, and we could not hand it over if we were asked. Deleting the app deletes everything.
This matters more here than in most apps. A record of gambling urges is sensitive, and the safest place for it is a device you control.
Purchases. If you subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription status. We never see your payment card details.
That is the only thing. The app makes no other network requests.
No account, no email address, no name. No location, no contacts, no photos, no advertising identifiers, no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and we do not build a profile of you.
Reminders are scheduled and delivered on your device. They are not sent from a server, so nobody outside your phone knows what they say or when they fire.
ResetBet is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. If you are in the EU/EEA and have a question about how this works, email us and we will answer.
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
