These terms govern your use of eSign Fill & Sign PDF Document for iPhone and iPad (“eSignature”, “the app”), published by Zintex OÜ, Ahtri tn 12, Tallinn 15551, Estonia (“we”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. They apply together with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you sign a document through a link someone sent you, the section “Signing a document sent to you” applies to you.
eSignature lets you scan, import and edit documents, add signatures, stamps, text and watermarks, and send a document to another person to sign in their browser. It produces simple electronic signatures. It is not a certification authority, a notary or a qualified electronic-signature service, and a signature added with the app does not by itself make a document legally binding anywhere in particular. Whether a simple electronic signature is enough for a given document is for you to judge.
You are responsible for what you scan, store, sign and send, and for having the right to do so. When you send a document for signing, you are responsible for sending the link only to the intended signer, for having the right to share the document with them, and for telling them that their name and signature will be recorded. Anyone who has a signing link can open the document until the link expires, is used or is cancelled. Check every result before relying on it, and never use the app as the only copy of a document that matters to you.
When you sign through a link, you confirm that you are the person named or authorised to sign, that the name you type is your own, and that you agree to sign electronically. Your typed name, drawn signature and the time of signing are added to the document and returned to the person who sent it. Our Privacy Policy explains how this data is handled.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store terms under which you obtained it. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.
Some features require a subscription sold through the App Store at the price shown in the app before you buy. Plans may include weekly, monthly and yearly options; a free trial may be offered on some plans.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Where a free trial is offered, the subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before; any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. You can restore an active subscription on a new device with Restore purchases in the app's settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we are not able to issue them ourselves.
Everything you scan, import or create belongs to you. It stays on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own iCloud storage, where we have no access to it. Documents you send for signing are stored by us only to deliver them to the signer and to return the signed copy to you, and are deleted automatically 90 days after the request was created — save the signed copy if you need it. We cannot recover documents you delete, or that are lost with your device or a failed backup. Please keep copies of documents you need.
Do not use the app to forge or falsify documents or signatures, to sign in someone else's name without their authority, to impersonate another person or business, to send unlawful or harmful content, to infringe anyone's copyright or privacy, or to break any law. Do not attempt to disrupt the app or the signing service, to access documents that were not sent to you, or to circumvent the app's purchase mechanisms. We may disable signing links that are used in breach of these terms.
The signing service depends on internet connectivity and third-party hosting. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may change or discontinue it; if we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can download signed documents first.
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or available at all times, or that a signature made with it will be accepted for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost or corrupted data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Nothing in them limits the consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
